Founded in 2008 as a closed joint-stock company specializing in national steel manufacturing, Solb Steel has received vital support from the Saudi Industrial Development Fund. With investments exceeding SAR 2 billion and a site spanning approximately 5 million square meters, our production capacity surpasses 1 million tons of steel per year.
As the first heavy industrial facility in Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries, Solb Steel has become a key player in the Kingdom’s industrial transformation. Our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction has enabled us to grow steadily and expand globally.

Solb Steel (formerly South Steel) was established with a capital of SAR 540 million, launching the first major industrial project in Jazan Economic City under the royal patronage of the late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
In the second half of 2012, the company has began operations, producing high-quality steel to meet national and international demands to support infrastructure growth across Saudi Arabia futher more internatonal market.
With renewed focus and alignment to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, Solb Steel reestablished its operational strength — supporting national development and industrial innovation.
